Please note: This was a combined forum with the candidates for State Attorney, however we edited the State Attorney candidate responses out and will provide them in another video and blog post.
Also, clearly I should have provided videographer Bill Grove with a tripod along with a camera, as he seemed challenged to overcome some "stability" issues. But hey, we thank him none the less for taking the time to videotape this event. Enjoy, and as always, please feel free to leave comments and take the poll below the video.

ReplyDeleteI listened to the video and was struck by Ramsays "I" "I" "I" mentality. According to his diatribe it appears the only thing Peryam gas done in four years is the things that went wrong. I don;t think I can vote for a person who only takes credit dor the things that do right and blames everyone else for the things that go wrong. I may be a Republican but I have to say I will be voting Democratic on Nov 6th Sheriff race.
ReplyDeleteFunny how ramsey made captain of the jail having never worked in the jail but he is the one always talking about not having experience goes to show you dont need experience!!!!!
ReplyDeletewhat it boils down to is do people want a fresh perspective and a candidate(Peteck) who wants to bring revenue to the sheriffs office and make it better for the officers and us tax payers? or do they want the current organization with bloated slaries (Ramsay) that keep taxing us residents and increasing their own admin salaries.
ReplyDeleteRamsay helped coverup his ex-girlfriends theft of Trauma Star medical supplies. I can't vote for a theif or anyone who helps a theif. the same people who vote for Ramsay are the ones who don't see anything wrong with retaining Gastesi.
ReplyDeleteTom is a nice guy who will do a really good job as sheriff. We need a fresh approach and an approachable law enforcement team. Mr. Ramsey makes me feel uncomfortable, it was stressful to listen to his speech. I wouldn't want to work with him, and I wouldn't feel comfortable asking for his help. Tom Peteck, on the other hand, has a calm, common sense approach that I think we need here at the top, and that approach filters down through the ranks. Listening to him made inspired me to get more involved! I can't wait to vote!

ReplyDeleteHey did I hear Peteck correctly the other night during the Ramsay LoveFest at the Green Parrot? Did Peteck say the MCSO budget should be closer to 36 million than the current 42 million.
ReplyDeleteHello I am all for that. Why hasn't anyone from the Citizen followed up with Peteck about that? Maybe they did and are just waiting until they can squeeze it into the paper since there are so many other more important stories to write. Yeah that must be it. It couldn't be that the citizen has been bought and paid for by the Ramsay campaign with all the advertising he has bought.
